The PS Store continues to have excellent deals for PS4 and PS5 to celebrate the new year. It’s the final week of the Holiday Sale, which means this is the last chance PlayStation players can get great games at great deals. This includes a surprisingly solid first-person shooter based on a popular action movie franchise.
RoboCop: Rogue City Alex Murphy Edition is 55% off on PS Store
Developed by Teyon and published by Nacon in 2023, RoboCop: Rogue City Alex Murphy Edition is currently $31.49 on the PS Store. Normally listed at $69.99, that is a whole 55% discount from the original price. This is a pretty solid deal for fans of the long-running franchise, but you’ll have to act fast. The deal ends on January 18.
“Become the legendary part man, part machine, all cop hero and bring justice to the dangerous, crime-ridden streets of Old Detroit,” reads the description on the PS Store.
“The city of Old Detroit has been hit by a crime wave, with a new enemy threatening the peace and order,” continues the description. “Your investigation leads you right into the heart of a shadowy conspiracy in an original story that takes place between RoboCop 2 and 3, with striking locations to explore and familiar faces to meet.”
RoboCop: Rogue City Alex Murphy Edition includes the base game and several digital goodies. This includes the OCP Shotgun side arm, damaged RoboCop skin, Auto-9 Prototype skin, and digital artbook. Anyone planning to grab the game can also grab the Vanguard Pack DLC at $2.49, a 50% discount.
It should be noted this PS Store deal is only for the Alex Murphy Edition. The Standard Edition is still at its regular $59.99 price point.
RoboCop: Rogue City did alright critically, receiving a 72 on review aggregate site Metacritic. While it wasn’t the biggest critical success, much of its praise revolves around its authenticity of the beloved franchise. That is partially thanks to original RoboCop actor Peter Weller lending his voice to the game.
