Physical copies of Concord PS5 have begun popping up for sale online as a collector’s item. While we expected this to happen, it happened sooner than we thought it would. Sony erased every trace of Concord back in September 2024, but many held on to their copies in an attempt to own a piece of history… albeit an unsavory one.
Concord PS5 discs are all that remains of Sony’s doomed multiplayer shooter
As spotted by a ResetEra user, eBay has been flooded with new listings for Concord PS5 discs. As a reminder, Sony revoked all digital copies of the game from players’ libraries, so these discs and a themed DualSense controller are pretty much all that remain of Concord other than videos and articles published online.
One of the listings that I spotted notes that the seller has sold 79 copies of the game (at the time of this writing) and counting. This is an eBay-generated counter, so it’s likely that this seller picked up a return carton to have this many copies at hand. It’s not uncommon for folks to purchase entire pallets of returned items.
I have a sealed copy of Concord sitting on my desk. I guess I’m hanging on to that coaster…
