PS Plus March 2025

PS Plus Extra, Premium Day-1 PS5 Game Coming Summer 2025

PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscribers are in for a treat this year. As it stands now, four games will be part of the service’s Game Catalog perk when they launch. This includes Remedy Entertainment’s multiplayer first-person shooter, FBC: Firebreak, which revealed a new Summer 2025 release window.

FBC: Firebreak will be available for PS Plus Extra, Premium subscribers at launch

FBC: Firebreak is set in The Oldest House, the headquarters of the Federal Bureau of Control and the setting of the critically acclaimed action game Control. Unlike the lore and narrative-driven experience players know from Remedy Entertainment, the developer is focusing on gameplay this time around. There is also an emphasis on creating a live-service game without the FOMO tropes the genre is most known for. Specifically, all playable content will be free and is designed to be played at whatever pace the player chooses.

The new trailer features the Paper Chase Job, which is one of several missions in FBC: Firebreak. In this particular Job, the Firebreak Initiative has to clear out a section of The Oldest House that is infested with rogue sticky notes. Also shown in the trailer are the loadouts players will use as they attempt to keep the Hiss threat at bay.

When it launches, FBC: Firebreak will be available on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Epic Games Store and Steam.

As mentioned above this is just one of four games available via the Game Catalog at launch. Also announced was Lost Records: Bloom & Rage, Blue Prince, and Abiotic Factor. The first part of Lost Records is available for PS Plus Extra and Premium subscribers right now, with the second part slated to launch next month.

Also available for PS Plus members is early access to the PS Store’s Spring Sale. Subscribers can get great deals on games like Cyberpunk 2077 and Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 right now.
