To help ease your wait for Snowblind Studios’ The Lord of the Rings: War in the North – which is currently scheduled for a release in 2011 – Warner Bros. has released a handful of new screenshots from PAX for the forthcoming action role-playing game.
The Lord of the Rings: War in the North will feature “unseen lands, story elements, and characters from Middle-earth, as well as elements familiar from past feature films”. The action role-playing game will offer upgradeable weapons and special abilities that develop along with the game’s characters. Snowblind Studios founder had promised players the game will also feature “an innovative approach to online co-op gameplay, woven throughout every facet of the game”.
