With every story of a game making a ton of money and the video game industry looking good, there comes a story of a developer that is getting the axe. The most recent one on the chopping block is Propaganda Games, developer of Turok and the recently released Tron: Evolution.
This was not the first sign of bad times for the developer as last year its other title, Pirates of the Caribbean: Armada of the Damned, was canceled and the studio was restructured. This time around Disney Interactive Studios has decided to go ahead and close the studio, which in turn is affecting around 70 employees.
In these tough times we can only hope that these talented individuals catch on elsewhere and continue to bring us games down the road.
