After weeks of playing coy and denying any existence of Borderlands 2, Gearbox Software CEO Randy Pitchford has confirmed that a sequel to the 2009 hit is indeed in the works.
Speaking with VG247, Randy broke the news saying,
I’m sure Duke will have some demands of me and I’ve gotta work on Borderlands 2, right?
A sequel was really a no-brainer considering the original sold close to 3 million copies worldwide and was a critical success. New details are sure to surface soon and when they do we will have them here for you.
