Sony has released a video that shows a behind the scenes look at the making of Kara, Quantic Dream’s stunning PS3 tech demo.
On the PS Blog, Senior Social Media Specialist Sid Shuman has released a “making of” video for Kara that shows the process of creating the tech demo, including using different performances — and different performances by different actresses for the foreign language portions — to create the tech demo. The actress who played Kara, Valorie Curry, first auditioned for the role in June 2010 and worked together with David Cage on her performance, including the motion capture process. In the video, Curry gives her thoughts on what the motion capture process was like. Anyone interested in Kara should watch the video, as it provides some interesting insight into how it was made.
