Square Enix has released the front page of Hope News Times Issue #3 and it appears that something sinister may be happening in the town of Hope, South Dakota in the world of Hitman: Absolution.
The front page shows that a murder investigation is underway in the death of a young man, who died after apparently touching an electric fence on the perimeter of a local scrap yard. A sheriff said that a fence being hooked up to a mega-voltage generator is no laughing matter. The paper’s story doesn’t leave enough information to suggest if Agent 47 or one of his enemies was responsible for the attack. Square Enix says that screenshots to be released tomorrow may shed some more light on the situation.
Also, the seemingly highly influential Dexter Industries appears to make another cameo in the paper. “Local hero” Blake Dexter is said to be calling a town hall meeting to raise funding for a local store going out of business, “The Green Spot.”
