LightBox Interactive has announced that all Starhawk map packs will be free, in addition to announcing that a Starhawk MLG tournament will take place.
On the PS Blog, LightBox Interactive President Dylan Jobe has first announced that all Starhawk map packs will be free. However, he does note that while all map packs will be free, there will still be unspecified paid DLC for the game. Jobe did release very early concept art for the first upcoming map pack called “Cypress,” which is set in an abandoned Rift Energy research facility. Check out the art towards the bottom of this post.
Second, Jobe announced that Major League Gaming will be holding a tournament for the game that has over $20,000 in prizes. To sign up, click here.
