Get a glimpse of the story of Preacher, one of the main characters in Medal of Honor: Warfighter.
The trailer released by EA today gives a bit of insight into the life of Preacher, a family man and soldier who happens to be on the phone with a loved one when an explosive is detonated in a train station. He awakens in a hospital and then various scenes are shown, including what appears to be his squad engaging in some combat in the Middle East and some cinematic-style footage of the game’s Frostbite 2 visuals. Preacher’s story appears to be a bit serious in tone in some moments in the trailer, with scenes of a funeral being shown, Preacher grabbing his wedding ring, and being shown in another scene looking down at a mother and daughter on the street.
Many FPSes released over the past few years have tended to focus more on action and less on the stories of individual characters. Would you like to see a more mature story be told in a war FPS?
