After teasing us for far too long about the inclusion of zombies, Activision and Treyarch have finally revealed three zombie-centric modes for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 .
The first mode is called Tranzit which allows for either solo or co-op play with up to three additional friends and is set in a “big, giant, expansive world” for players to explore. The second option is survival, which, like the name implies, has gamers fighting onslaughts of undead foes in a portion of Tranzit’s massive landscape.
The third and final mode is Grief, which pits two teams of four against each other in the world of Tranzit. Players however cannot kill one another, only strive to outlast the other team by putting them in dangerous zombie-infested situations.

In addition to all of this, Treyarch is including stat tracking, leaderboards, matchmaking and custom games to make sure you get the most out of their zombie offerings. It’s also worth noting that gamers who pre-order the Hardened Edition or Care Package will receive access to the Nuketown Zombies map.
Black Ops 2 is set to launch on November 13th.
