In a rather entertaining Devil May Cry voice actor focused developer diary, Dante’s voice actor, Tim Phillips, speaks about the new take on the character, specifically his personality which Phillips describes as “cool” four different times throughout the video.
Based on what I’ve seen, I happen to agree with him, but I can imagine how irritating the trailer is for those opposed to Devil May Cry‘s new direction, and Dante in particular.
Gameplay, and all of those more important fundamentals aside – what do you think of Dante at this point? Has he grown on any of you, or is the rebellious young demon slayer too radical of a change from white haired grandpa Dante for you to accept?
