That ‘Summer 2013’ release window for Codemaster’s PS3 racing game, GRID 2, has been narrowed down (to something not in summer) and we’ll be able to start playing it on May 28th in North America and May 31st in Europe.
For those of you who want to guarantee your copy early, there have been three different pre-order bonus special editions announced for the United States, which you can read about below:
Gamestop – GRID 2: Turbo-Charged Edition
McLaren Racing Pack: Includes the exclusive McLaren MP4-12C GT3 Special Edition car to race in single-player, multiplayer and a special online event. Also comes with two new routes around the Brands Hatch GP circuit.
GTR Racing Pack: Includes the exclusive Nissan GT-R SpecV road car to race in single-player, multiplayer and an exclusive online event; plus experience all five routes around the Yas Marina circuit by day.
Best Buy – GRID 2: IndyCar Edition
IndyCar Pack: Includes the exclusive Dallara IndyCar and the IndyCar Pace car to race in single-player, multiplayer and an exclusive online event; plus expand the game with two new routes around the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Oval Circuit.
Amazon – GRID 2: Head Start Edition
Head Start Pack: Receive the exclusive Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren 722 GT car to race in single-player, multiplayer and enjoy discounts in the Car Upgrades Store in online game modes and a unique RaceNet bonus.
