Sure, you could play through BioShock Infinite on one of the easier modes when you get your copy tomorrow, but if you want a true challenge, 1999 Mode is going to be unlockable from the very beginning. All you have to do is enter this modified version of the Konami code at the main menu:
Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, O, X
After entering the code, you’ll be placed into a difficulty mode that tests you in every way possible. And as for save points, well, Ken Levine said last year that, “there are game saves, and you’re gonna f***ing need them.”
