Ubisoft revealed earlier today that both Assassin’s Creed and Just Dance rank in the top 20 selling franchises of this console generation. In a presentation coinciding with the release of their financials, they detailed the rest of the games in the top 20, which we’ve placed below:
And here’s a graph showing the top 17 selling games of last year, according to the NPD, GFK, Chart-Track, and Nielsen:
Ubisoft also included a chart showing off their market share growth, while also detailing how far ahead of them Activision Blizzard and EA are:
When it comes to the next generation of consoles, Ubisoft believes they will “lead to record sales for the industry,” with one of their “key drivers” for this fiscal year involving “new IPs to capitalize on PS4’s launch.” As of now, Watch Dogs is the only new IP scheduled for the PS4, so maybe one of their unannounced titles is headed to next-gen?
