Due to a lack of new releases (the highest newbie is at #19), and probably because Pokemon X/Y comes out on 3DS this Saturday, it was a pretty pedestrian week over in Japan between September 30th – October 6th.
On the game side, Monster Hunter 4 for 3DS sold another 140,538 copies, bringing its total to over 2.5 million. While on the hardware side, the PlayStation Vita dropped from 6,031 to just 3,538, which puts it behind the 3DS (122,987), PS3 (10,232), PSP (4,093), and Wii U (4,001).
