Let’s face it, Tecmo Koei’s Dead or Alive franchise hasn’t been know for subtlety or even for its wholesome image, but Dead or Alive 5’s latest DLC called “Bath and Bedtime,” could be the one that tops them all.
The DLC dresses up the game’s various female characters in bath towels, nightgowns and sleepwear, which you can see in the trailer above. Its official description states, “The girls of DOA5U get cozy in 10 new bath towel and pyjama-themed costumes. This [sic] costumes are bathtime costumes for Ayane, Helena, Tina and Rachel; and bedtime costumes for Kokoro, Hitomi, Marie Rose, Mila, Leifang and Momiji.”
And just before you ask, male in-game characters aren’t getting any bedtime or bath costumes.
While the fighter had previous DLCs that might have left other people uncomfortable (swimwear and cheerleader DLC come to mind), this one might be its creepiest yet. Makes me wonder how far the franchise will go when it comes to lewdness.
