PC shooter Insurgency, which is currently available on Steam, may come to the PlayStation 4. Game Director Jeremy Blum’s comments regarding the developer eyeing next-gen (or current-gen, whichever you prefer) were mentioned in an update over at the Steam Community.
Although the game may be considered a ‘finished’ product, we are constantly evolving our vision and looking forward to growing in the years to come. We have ‘next-gen’ and console ambitions. Whether or not we stay on the same engine, we will see, but one thing we know is this is just the beginning.
For those who aren’t familiar with the title, Insurgency is a first-person tactical shooter with an emphasis on teamwork and communication. The game has been well-received by players.
