The deck-building game Ascension: Chronicle of the Godslayer will be coming to PlayStation Vita systems, Playdek’s Community Manager Shyla Schofield announced today.
In Ascension, players create decks while they play the game, rather than beforehand like Magic: The Gathering or Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft. This puts the strategy on gameplay, rather than deck-building, which allows players to be on more equal footing with their opponents at the start of the card battle.
Ascension will feature both multiplayer and single player gameplay on the PS Vita, allowing players to compete in global tournaments or just practice against some local AI.
Although there is no word on when the game will be coming to PS Vita systems, it has been out for some time for iOS devices, and Scholfield mention that more information would be coming soon.
