Aksys Games has announced that Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN- is releasing on December 16 in North America for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3, which is just two weeks after the game comes to Japan. Unfortunately for those of you in Europe, no date was given.
Featuring enhanced fighting mechanics and a “significantly expanded” Roman Cancel, Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN-‘s roster of fighters currently sits at 16 and includes Sol Badguy, Ky Kiske, May, Bedman (who is attached to and fights with a bed), and Ramlethal Valentine. Two other characters, Sin Kiske and Elphelt will also be available in the game, with the latter a DLC character.
If you decide to pre-order Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN- on either the PS4 or PS3, you’ll be able to choose from the limited edition or standard edition of the game:
The limited edition will contain a box to hold all the goodies, fashioned in the likeness of the “Backyard”, the Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN- Vocal Collection (just like the Japanese version!), the Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN- Character Book which will provide information on characters, terms, and concepts from the beginning of the series to the present, and finally, the Sol Badguy “FREE” belt buckle keychain!
