Earlier this week, The Game Awards Producer Geoff Keighley said, “Getting ready to soon start talking about some of the world premieres set for The Game Awards.” Last night, he delivered on that promise by revealing Metal Gear Online would be unveiled at the event.
Included as part of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, Metal Gear Online was taken offline on June 12, 2012. For this new version of Metal Gear Online, Kojima previously said they plan on including it with The Phantom Pain, and development is being handled by “our LA studio as well as us. We’re working closely to create a vast multiplayer for all the fans.”
The Game Awards takes place in Las Vegas on Friday, December 5. You can buy tickets here, and check out the nominees here.
