The Game Awards – Battlefield Hardline Trailer Brings the Shootbang, EA Says It Will be the Most Complete FPS in the Market

Expressing its confidence in the upcoming shooter, Battlefield Hardline, Electronic Arts has said that the game will be the “most complete” first-person shooter on the market when it launches. The company said that this feat will be achieved by combining the title’s cops-versus-criminals gameplay and its multiplayer component with its “emotionally driven” story that is inspired by crime dramas such as Justified

EA made the aforementioned claim while announcing its partnership with musician, Jamie N Commons, who also helped to create Hardline’s theme song called “Karma.” Visceral Games’ General Manager, Steve Papoutsis, said that the song captures Hardline’s “gritty cop and criminals tone.” Commons said he “could not pass up” the opportunity to work on a Battlefield game, and that the game’s music will reflect its theme “where actions have consequences.”

Battlefield Hardline is scheduled for release on March 17, 2015. In case you’ve missed it, you can watch the new story trailer from The Game Awards 2014 below.
