Our site name is PlayStation LifeStyle, and there’s a good reason for that. Each of the staff members are avid gamers that love PlayStation and live it each day. But the question we want to know is just how much each staff member games each day. From a few hours to upwards of 50, here is how much time each of the staff members spends gaming.
Alex Co (@Excaliburps)
In a week? I’d say 2-3 hours. Kinda sucks and I need to remedy that soon. I used to play a few hours per day, but don’t have the drive to do that now since there’s so many things to do when it comes to work, family and such.
Cameron Teague (@Cameron_PSLS)
I would say that on a given week, I am game anywhere from 20-30 hours. A lot of it depends on what games I have it front of me at the moment.
Chandler Wood (@FinchStrife)
Gaming is a full time job and hobby for me. As I am reviewing games, trophy hunting, and just generally enjoying my games, it equates to an absolute bare minimum of 40 hours a week, with frequent opportunities for overtime. I really embrace the PlayStation lifestyle and living a life as the “PlayStation guy” to most anyone that knows me, so gaming is an extremely important thing for me to take part in. I also want to take in as many games as I possibly can, which means even more time is spent playing games. If I’m not playing games, I’m talking about games or writing about games, so it really is a central part of my every day.

Since we now have two PS4s in the house, I spend almost all my free time playing games, which equals out to be more hours than a part-time job. I really do live the name of our site. Gaming, to me, is like Christmas as a kid when you got a really cool, fun present and you are so excited to play with it all day long. Every time I get to play a cool game, my excitement is renewed and never seems to lessen. I get play with this awesome toy whenever I want and it’s always fun! It’s great to be a gaming couple, too. We talk about games all the time, often over party chat while playing together.

The answer to this question is a simple, too much. Between grouping up with our regular crew on Destiny, and trying to work through any games sitting on my backlog, it almost feels like I do nothing else. This is why I have been making it a point to cut down on my gaming time, so that I can do other things in life.
Louis Edwards (@ftwrthtx)
I spend probably 30-50 hours a week online. Due to disability and chronic pain, this is pretty much my only means to do things that are otherwise impossible.
Mack Ashworth (@GamingWithMack)
25-30 hours per week, like a good little video game addict.
Paulmichael Contreras (@T3mpr1x)
Maybe 5 hours a week, unless I have a review upcoming. I always have such grand plans on what games I’m going to play, but then I’ll get too busy or something else will come up.
Ryan (@Decimalator)
Way too much to admit. Probably at least a couple hours each night during the week, unless I have something that keeps me from it. On the weekend probably 4-5 hours each day unless I am busy, and then it’s as much as I can cram in. I usually play with my wife or my son or both so it’s also our family time.
Zarmena Khan (@Zarmena)
I play every other day, but not more than 2-2.5 hours in a day!
