Upcoming Battlefield Hardline Beta Includes Hotwire and Conquest Modes

Stopping short of actually saying when it’ll start or how you’ll gain access, Visceral Games General Manager Steve Papoutsis talked about the upcoming Battlefield Hardline beta, re-confirming that it’s coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC.

Featuring two different maps (Downtown, Dust Bowl) and modes, the Hardline beta allows you to try out the all-new Hotwire mode, or the 64-players cops and criminals warfare action of Conquest. Also, “There won’t be a cap on the max progression level so whether you’re busting criminals or fleeing the cops, unlock away.”

Papoutsis added:

To be frank, we want you to play this beta to death. We need you to. This test is only going to make the game stronger, and help us take a look at ways we can ensure we deliver the most stable launch you deserve.

So keep that feedback coming and head to the [Battlefield forums]. We’ve got our ears to the ground, and we’ll see you on the streets of Battlefield Hardline soon. For now, check back every Wednesday and find out more about the game.

If you’re wondering about the release date for the beta, Lead Multiplayer Designer Thaddeus Sasser said, “We don’t want to announce the date until we’ve passed cert so that we’re ABSOLUTELY sure everything is good.”

Battlefield Hardline launches on March 17, 2015 in North America and March 20, 2015 in Europe.
