Confirming the news that popped up last month, Battlefield Hardline developer Visceral Games replied to a user on Twitter over the weekend, revealing that the game will be 900p on PlayStation 4 and 720p on Xbox On when it launches next week.
This news comes after it was announced at E3 2014 that the game would run at 1080p/60fps on PS4.
A resolution for PS3 and Xbox 360 wasn’t given, but in a June 2014 interview, Creative Director Ian Milham said, “[…] The PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions will obviously not be as high res as compared to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions.”
Elsewhere on Twitter this weekend, Visceral re-iterated their promise to have Hardline be a stable experience, saying, “No [it won’t take us a year to fix our game]. We intend to release a stable, bug-free product as evidenced by our beta.”
Battlefield Hardline launches on March 17 in North America and March 19 in Europe for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC. If you missed the news last week, EA confirmed what you can expect from the Premium membership.
