While Battlefield 4 might not have had the smoothest of launches for an online multiplayer game, it seems Visceral Games was confident that Battlefield Hardline won’t suffer from the same issues at launch.
Unfortunately, players have taken to both Reddit and Twitter to voice their frustrations at the Battlefield Hardline connection issues that are happening to players this week. According to the official Battlefield Twitter, the team is “aware” of the connectivity issues, and are doing their best to fix it.
We are aware of the ongoing #BFHardline connectivity issues. We’ve got our best on it and hope to resolve soon. Thanks for your patience.

Earlier in the day, the Twitter account mentioned that the server problems was caused by a DDoS attack; though that tweet has since been deleted. While some might blame the PlayStation Network for the complications, it seems both the PS4 and Xbox One versions are suffering from it, so it’s not Sony’s fault this time around.
