Console Versions of Project CARS Will Feature PC-Like Graphics Settings

PC games often have a lot of tweakable graphics settings. Things like bloom effects, field of view, and more can be adjusted accordingly, and it isn’t often that we see a console game that also features these settings. However, it looks like the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions Project CARS will allow users to change numerous graphics settings for varied visuals.

According to some recently released screenshots, the console versions of Project CARS will feature menus like Visual FX”, “Authenticity”, “Field of View” and “Movement,” with each menu featuring an array of different settings that can be altered.

Whether or not altering the settings will have any impact on the game’s performance is unknown, although it seems unlikely that performance would be impacted in any way. It was announced that the PS4 version would run at 1080p/60fps, while the Xbox One version will run at 900p/60fps.

Project CARS will apparently be out on PS4, Xbox One, and PC on May 7, barring no further delays.
