Resident Evil HD Remaster Crosses 1 Million Copies Sold Worldwide

Released in January on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC, Capcom announced today that the Resident Evil HD Remaster has sold over one million units worldwide.

As Capcom says, “This is in part because the dev team made a great product, but also because of the excellent word of mouth and general praise fans shared about the title. We want to thank everyone for rediscovering this modern classic – or thank you for trying it for the first time. Hope you finished it as Chris AND Jill!”

Back in early February, Capcom revealed that the Resident Evil HD Remaster set the record for biggest selling day one digital title on the PlayStation Network after winning January in both North America and Europe.
