UK video game retailers are a bit nervous that not enough big name games are coming out this year, and are hoping that E3 2015 will “deliver a few surprises.”
One buyer from a leading retailer explained that “E3 must deliver if we want to end the year in growth,” saying that stores are concerned over the number of games that have been pushed back to 2016.
We are holding out hope that E3 will deliver a few surprises.
There are seven press events this year, which gives cause for optimism. But how many of these games will be out this year? E3 must deliver if we want to end the year in growth.
Some of the biggest games that have been pushed back to 2016 include Zelda, Uncharted 4, The Division, and Dead Island 2. Do you think the UK retailers’ worries are justified?
