Psyonix’s Rocket League has been quite a hit with players, and it seems that its fan base is continuing to grow. The developer has revealed that “well over” three million people have played the game so far, and at one point yesterday, it had 163,000 concurrent players.
Although this is thanks in part to the title’s inclusion in the July 2015 PlayStation Plus Instant Game Collection, there’s no denying that Rocket League has been very well-received on the PlayStation 4 and PC both, with critics and players lauding its multiplayer component.
Congrats, Psyonix!
Those who are experiencing issues with the PS4’s fan while playing the game, do note that an upcoming patch will address the problem. Additionally, Psyonix will be giving away free DLC to apologize for all the server issues.
