Their most ambitious episode yet, Dontnod and Square Enix have announced Life Is Strange Episode 4: Darkroom is releasing on July 28 for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC.
Not only that, but it was revealed today that Life Is Strange has reached one million sales.
FILLED WITH SPOILERS, you can check out the Episode 4 trailer (above) and overview (below):
In Episode 4, Max pushes the investigation surrounding the disappearance of Rachel Amber and the strange happenings in Arcadia Bay into unexplored and daunting territory. As the End of the World party approaches, Max must use her powers to put all the pieces of the puzzle in place.
Asked why Episode 4 took so long, Dontnod said, “We wanted to make sure Episode 4 was in the best shape possible so we took a little while longer to ensure this.”
To prep for Darksoom, a new Life Is Strange update is available to download. However, “Users may be experiencing issues with subtitles since the latest update, we are looking into it. Quick fix: change console lang. to EN or FR.”
Expect the fifth and final episode of Life Is Strange to release in either September or October.
