Responding to a fan on Twitter, Sony’s Adam Boyes confirmed that the limited edition Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain PS4 won’t be available for purchase within the US.

The limited edition console, whose red and gold theme offers a more unique look than some of the other limited edition PS4s out there, sports a 500GB hard drive, a metallic grey wireless controller, a headset, and a copy of the game.
On the bright side, however, the console is region free so, if you really want to get your hands on one, importing is an option. And if that isn’t a viable option, maybe this Star Wars bundle might do the trick — assuming you’re a fan of Darth Vader and Star Wars, of course.
The console and game will launch worldwide on September 1.
