Unlock Free Limited-Time Rocket League Halloween DLC Beginning on October 18

Shortly after developer Psyonix releases the paid Revenge of the Battle-Cars DLC for Rocket League on October 13, they’ll be giving out some free Halloween-themed items to all players on PlayStation 4.

Running from October 18 – November 2, these limited-time only items are available as post-match items. “Each Halloween item can be unlocked simply by playing matches like you normally would (Win or lose!),” Psyonix explained. “Once you’ve found an item, it’s yours to keep forever, but if you don’t find the ones you want by November 2, you’ll have to wait until next year for a shot at them again.”

Here’s the items you can expect:

• “Calavera” Antenna
• “Candy Corn” Rocket Trail
• “Carriage” Wheels
• “Fuzzy Brute” Antenna
• “Fuzzy Vampire” Antenna
• “Pumpkin” Topper

Psyonix adds that you don’t need Revenge of the Battle-Cars to get the free Halloween items.

It was recently revealed that Rocket League still sees roughly 750,000 players each day, with the ratio of those who paid for the game and downloaded it through PlayStation Plus “pretty equal.”
