Thanksgiving is almost upon us and to commemorate the occasion, Rockstar Games is introducing an Adversary mode for Grand Theft Auto Online: Running Back.
Supporting up to eight players in total, the holiday-themed game mode divides participants into teams of two, with one player getting behind the wheel of a Benefactor Panto as the elusive runner. Depending on which group you side with, your goal is to either intercept the runner by any means necessary or, on the opposite side of the roadway, guide them safely to the end zone for a pseudo-touchdown.
The remaining pool of players will take control of BF Biftas, which ought to make for a good old-fashioned destruction derby. Of the locations included, Running Back can be enjoyed across Raton Canyon Bridge, La Mesa Bridge and Zancudo Tunnel.
Rockstar didn’t specify how long Running Back will be available for, though we imagine it’ll be a fixture of Grand Theft Auto Online throughout Thanksgiving weekend.
