Japanese Sales Chart: PS4 Version of Yakuza: Kiwami Finishes in 1st, Just Cause 3 Debuts in 4th

It was a great week for PlayStation new releases, with Yakuza: Kiwami on PlayStation 4 taking first place last week with 103,000 sold, followed by the PlayStation 3 version in second with 60,000 sold.

After the debut of Hyrule Warriors on 3DS in 3rd, Just Cause 3 appears in 4th with 34,000 sold, followed by Resident Evil: Origins Collection on PS4 in 5th. Resident Evil 0 for PS3, meanwhile, finished in 7th.

Despite the new games, PS4 hardware sales fell again to 24,400, finishing behind the New 3DS LL, which saw a slight increase.

Here’s how each system sold, along with the top 20 selling retail games in Japan from January 18 – 24, 2016, according to Media Create:
