Included inside the $99.99 (USD) Gold Edition, meaning it will likely be $40 separately, The Division Season Pass for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC features three major expansions “to provide a renewed gameplay experience after launch.”
The three expansions will arrive over the course of the year and add new content, gear, and gameplay:
- Expansion I: Underground – This first major expansion opens up a new area to players as they explore the uncharted underworld of New York City with up to 4 friends for intense co-op action.
- Expansion II: Survival – In this expansion, players will have to survive as long as possible in a very hostile environment that will challenge even the most talented agents.
- Expansion III: Last Stand – Details TBA.
Season Pass owners also receive exclusive outfits and weapon skins, including the Sawed-off Shotgun at launch. Additionally, there will be special monthly benefits, such as exclusive content drops and special events.
If you don’t want to spend money on post-launch content for The Division, Ubisoft is planning free updates for all players that will add new game modes, including group-oriented operations to test your abilities in co-op mode and win unique rewards.
The Division beta begins tomorrow on PS4, and the full game launch happens on March 8.
