According to an image on Xbox Italy’s Facebook page, The Division will be holding an open beta later this month.
Captured by Eurogamer, the above image says The Division open beta will run from February 16 – 21 on Xbox One. Since Xbox One gamers receive 24-hour early access, just as they did with the closed beta, it suggests PlayStation 4 and PC owners would have access from February 17 – 21.
Since Ubisoft has yet to announce an open beta, or confirm the above image, treat this as a rumor for now.
If you want to play The Division right now, the closed beta is running until 3am PT/6am ET on February 2.
For players on PC who have experienced cheating issues, Ubisoft says they’ll be addressed in time for launch:
Over the last few days, we have seen an unprecedented level of interest for the Closed Beta. We are looking into your feedback with care and we are thrilled by your passion and enthusiasm!
We are aware of the cheating issues in the Closed Beta on PC. The team is fully committed to providing solutions against this and a system will be in place to ensure a fair experience for players when the game is released on March 8.
Do you hope Ubisoft runs an open beta later this month?
