BioShock Collection

Report: BioShock: The Collection May Take Up 70GB of Space

The Xbox One already has the BioShock: The Collection available to pre-download as well as preorder, which has shined some light on how much space we should expect for this game bundle. According to this pre-download info, Xbox One users need to set aside 69.41 GB of space. It’s worth noting that the original games only took up 17.56 GB. There better be one amazing upgrade in visuals to account for nearly quadrupling the amount of space needed. The DLC attached to this bundle cannot account for all of this additional space.

While it’s expected that the PlayStation 4 will require the same amount of space, we don’t have any confirmation that that will indeed be the case. Thus far, the PlayStation Store only has 21.6 MB listed as the file size, which cannot possibly be accurate. Perhaps that is the file size for the starter files to prompt the download, but it’s hard to believe that’s the entire bundle.

The BioShock: The Collection contains BioShockBioShock 2, and BioShock Infinite, as well as all of their DLC. It’s available for preorder on PS4 now and will release on September 12, 2016.
