Deus Ex: Mankind Divided’s Breach Mode Gets Updated With New Weapons

Eidos Montreal has released a new update to Deus Ex: Mankind Divided‘s Breach mode. Square Enix describes Breach as Mankind Divided’s “arcade approach to gameplay,” as players attempt to obtain classified data in a connected world. Available now, the Breach mode update contains a new objective, several additional weapons, and a new world filled with nine maps.

The major additions include a brand new objective. Called Package Delivery, this mission type has players attempting to find a package that has been hidden within a map. After finding it, players will then have to bring it safely to an exit point. An additional world has also been added (the non-creatively named World 4A), which consists of nine new maps. Three maps have also been added to existing modes.

The content-filled update also features three new items. These include an energy boost, an HP boost, and a memory space boost. Each of these items is available in three separate sizes and rarities. Other additions include four new weapons (the No Scope Sniper Rifle, Siege, 3RR0R EM Rifle, and the KABOOM Revolver), and two premium Ripper skins.

The Deus Ex: Mankind Divided Breach mode update is available now. Mankind Divided released in August of this year, and is the sequel to 2011’s Deus Ex: Human Revolution. PlayStation LifeStyle’s Paulmichael Contreras awarded the game a 9/10 in his review. He said that “Eidos Montreal has created an engrossing, intense adventure that even FPS haters need to check out,” and that it was ” this summer’s must-play game.”
