Update: Before the Storm is being worked on by Deck Nine Games with original series developer DONTNOD Entertainment working on a sequel to the original. A developer video was also released, check it out below.
At the Microsoft press conference, Life Is Strange: Before the Storm was officially announced.
A prequel to the original game, the trailer shown during the announcement features several characters from the original including Chloe, Rachel, and Max.
The first of the three-episode series is scheduled to debut on August 31, 2017.
