God of War is one of Sony’s flagship franchises. The upcoming PS3 exclusive is one of the most anticipated titles of 2010, and has Kratos exacting his revenge on Mount Olympus.
However, recent news will strike gamers as odd; Sony will NOT be publishing the God of War Trilogy in Japan, which features a copy of God of War III and God of War: Collection
So what publisher nabbed the rights to publish God of War: Trilogy in Japan then, if not Sony? None other than Capcom, who published both God of War and God of War II back when they originally released in Japan. Capcom also published God of War: Chains of Olympus, for the PlayStation Portable in 2008.
Capcom have also released an official God of War: Collection website to prepare gamers in Japan for the HD re-release of the two classic God of War games.
