Little Witch Academia Get its First Gameplay Trailer

Bandai Namco has released the first English trailer for Little Witch Academia: Chamber of Time. The game replicates the anime’s unique art style well, including the animations. Bandai Namco has also announced, however, that Chamber of Time will only be released digitally in North America and Europe.

Take a look at the English trailer below:

Alongside this trailer is a bit more information on the game’s story:

After finishing their final exam, the students of the Luna Nova Academy are about to leave for summer vacation. Akko discovers a secret room in the library that leads to the Chamber of Horologium, hidden in the basement of the school. Within the chamber is a clock that uses a forbidden magic to manipulate time; it’s one of the seven wonders of the Luna Nova Academy. Akko and her friends end up trapped in a time loop, re-living the same day over and over and over and over… Will they be able to escape this time paradox and solve all of the mysteries of the Academy?

If you want even more information on Chamber of Time, you can check our coverage from the Japanese version of the game:

As reported by Gematsu, it was announced that Amanda O’Neill, Constanze Albrechtsberger, and Jasminka Antonenko will join Akko Kagari, Lotte Yanson, and Sucy Manbavaran as playable characters. The game’s official theme song will be Toki no Mirage by Yuiko Ohara, who also sings the ending theme song for the anime.

In addition to the above, Bandai Namco revealed that players will be able to explore “almost all” of Luna Nova Magical Academy, and “almost every student” is set to make an appearance.
