While Sony’s marketing attention is placed on Uncharted: The Lost Legacy right now, there’s actually two more first-party PlayStation 4 exclusives releasing over the next two weeks – Everybody’s Golf and Knack 2.
Out on August 29 in North America and August 30 in Europe, Everybody’s Golf was the focus of the latest PlayStation Underground, where Sony Worldwide Studios President Shuhei Yoshida stopped by to face off against Ryan Clements. During the 12-minute video, they play through a few holes, show off some of the game’s features, and talk about parenthood.
By pre-ordering Everybody’s Golf through the PlayStation Store or retail stores ($39.99 USD), you’ll receive the 20th anniversary course, Rabbit Mascot costume, a unique shirt in two different colors, a dynamic theme, and a Premium Kart via the day one update.
We haven’t heard much about Knack 2 lately, but it will be available on September 5 in North America and September 6 in Europe for PS4, priced at $39.99 USD.
In his preview, Chandler said, “Knack 2 takes every moment and applies a co-op flair to it, so for example if there are any QTE sequences, both players will need to press the buttons. It even answers why there is only one Knack in the story by effectively saying that the co-op Knack is just a part of the main Knack, and during cutscenes, he is shown to be made up of both red and blue parts (the color of the second player) to show that both players are now Knack. It’s a clever and effective way of resolving questions that may arise about it.”
