The PlayStation Store has outed The Artful Escape PS5 and PS4 release ahead of an official announcement.
As spotted by folks over at Well-Played, the Beethoven & Dinosaur-developed psychedelic journey first appeared on the console version of the PlayStation Store in the Coming Soon section. At the time of this writing, the page can be viewed via the PlayStation app as well.
When will The Artful Escape PS5 and PS4 versions release?
Unfortunately, the page doesn’t mention a release date but considering the game was spotted in the Coming Soon section, its launch probably isn’t too far out. The official announcement will be made by publisher Annapurna Interactive so stay tuned as we find out more.
The Artful Escape first released for the Xbox One and Series X/S, and PC last September to positive reviews. It has since been nominated for numerous awards.
What exactly is The Artful Escape?
For the uninitiated, The Artful Escape tells the story of teenage guitar prodigy Francis Vendetti, who battles with his own imagination as well as the legacy of a dead legend on the eve of his performance. Annapurna describes it as “a story about great expectations.”
The Artful Escape features voice performances by Lena Headey, Jason Schwartzman, Caroline Kinley, and many more. Check out a trailer below.
We’ll update our readers when The Artful Escape PS5 and PS4 release date is announced.
In other news, Techland has promised five years of Dying Light 2 post-launch content, and Activision has promised to fix Call of Duty: Vanguard and Warzone issues following backlash.
