The recently-discovered PS5 jailbreak may only be partially functioning right now, but it’s good enough to read 3D model files on a game’s disc, offering users a visual of game content they might not be able to see otherwise. As previously reported by known modder Lance McDonald, Bluepoint Games-developed Demon’s Souls contains something called the Chieftain’s Ring, a fictional item made up by a game’s fan. References to the ring were found in Demon’s Souls files over a year ago, but no one knows how to find it or if it’s even possible to find it as it could be cut content. But thanks to the jailbreak, we have an idea of what the ring looks like.
Demon’s Souls Chieftain’s Ring visualized by PS5 jailbreak
Years ago, Demon’s Souls fans made up a fictional item called “Chieftain’s Ring”, which inspired the community to go on a wild goose chase search for it. For the remake, BluePoint Games actually created it! However, no one knows how to find it. Thanks @EyesGarden for the render! https://t.co/1A2YaZnJCk pic.twitter.com/g91rhNgPDC

Hackers are making great strides towards a full PS5 jailbreak, using an exploit that has been known for a while. So far, Sony has been unable (or simply hasn’t) plugged the loophole.
