With just two days until the game’s launch, Remedy Entertainment has unleashed the Alan Wake 2 launch trailer.
Wide A. Wake
The trailer showcases the twisty-turny story of the highly-anticipated sequel and its two protagonists; the titular Alan Wake and newcomer FBI Agent Saga Anderson. In the story, Alan is still trapped in the alternate dimension called the Dark Place. Hoping to escape his 13-year imprisonment, he writes a supernatural horror story about an FBI agent named Saga Anderson.
PlayStation Lifestyle’s Michael Leri previewed the game last month and wrote, ”While the wait for Alan Wake 2 has been especially long, it seems like it’s only benefiting from Remedy’s experiences and justifying its long bout in the Dark Place.”
Remedy Entertainment’s Sam Lake recently told fans that there will be significant free DLC for the game alongside paid expansions. DualSense features for PS5 were also revealed this week with immersive haptic feedback promised.
Alan Wake 2 releases just in time for Halloween this Friday, October 27, 2023 on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. It is currently digital only.
